B&B Owners – Interesting Phone Calls

We had a call the other day to asking why we had sent 5 emails saying there was a booking but it didn’t appear in the dashboard.

Answer: We sent the B&B Owner an email (and / or SMS) immediately a booking is made, then we wait two days to see if the booking is responded to. If it has not been responded to we then send a reminder every 12 hours.
If by the 4th day the booking has not been responded to, we then advise the guest there booking request is declined – at that point it is can only be found under the history tab of your booking section.
In the past 12 months this automatic system has declined 227 bookings worth €40,244.57.
