New Booking & Room Availability System Now Available

By | September 30, 2015

Members can now switch on an alternative room allocation & booking system from within the My-BNB admin panel.
Top Menu >> Website Options >> Room Allocation
This system has a multitude of benefits

  • Shows you actual availability on your own website or webpage
  • Allows 3rd party bookings (Booking.com, telephone….) to be added with a click of the mouse updating your availability instantly
  • Allow for reduced occupation of rooms i.e.. single occupation
  • Show which rooms are sold and which are available
  • Add Special Offers – Last minute discounts can be displayed automatically
  • Minimum Stay & Maximum Stay on a room by room basis
  • Every bed-night can be set up independently, for a day, period or year
  • Guests can choose to display room rates in US Dollars, GB Pounds or Euros

It’s easy to set up but there is no tutorial just yet but those B&Bs that have helped us in the final stages have had little trouble setting it up.

I think this is a giant leap forwards for users of this site, both for potential guests and for B&B owners. I look forward to trying it out!

Further to my earlier comment, I have implemented the new system for both normal occupancy and single occupancy, and I’m impressed. It’s clear and easy to use for both guests and B&Bs.

I appreciate that there’s no Help function available as yet, but I do have one question. I have set up a special ‘low season’ rate, and it’s fine for normal occupancy. However, I can’t find a way to extend the offer price for single occupancy for the duration of the special rate(single occupancy is displayed at the normal rate, and I can’t change it). Am I missing something, or is this a feature that isn’t available? If anyone can offer any help on this topic, I would really appreciate it.

In all other respects, a radical improvement for the better!
